And there is a cross on his back pack! So, of course, as a medic, he would not carrya weapon

However, since I got your comment I have been searching the internet to see if I could find an example of this but all I could find for German WW2 Red Cross uniforms was that they wore an armband - I can't find anything to suggest they wore such a cross on their chest.

But if anyone can point me in the right direction....kingsleyparkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17161045327971275146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5783118874383089969.post-33057818141101147322011-03-31T21:54:05.856+01:002011-03-31T21:54:05.856+01:00numerous pics from the bulge have them in the re...numerous pics from the bulge have them in the red cross marked apron / smock thing..Conrad Hawkwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08401894573789760129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5783118874383089969.post-82637531050853302282011-03-31T23:25:30.056+01:002011-03-31T23:25:30.056+01:00Cheers Conrad!Cheers Conrad!kingsleyparkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17161045327971275146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5783118874383089969.post-47636297983334412582011-04-23T08:20:21.010+01:002011-04-23T08:20:21.010+01:00Sorry but after seeing these, the drooping rifels ...Sorry but after seeing these, the drooping rifels etc and the dodgy poses, the Reich will continue to be defended by my oversized Valiant guys. In fact I was talking to the other Dave last night and he was making noises about using his new Force on Force rules for WW2 in 20mm so I can see him picking up some Tommys or GIs at Carronade in a fortnight.GordonYhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05700830322475156170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5783118874383089969.post-29007660398015247282011-04-23T08:58:32.776+01:002011-04-23T08:58:32.776+01:00I do like the Valiant plastic figures but they nee...I do like the Valiant plastic figures but they need to start increasing their output of different ranges and figures - ok they have now released the German infantry Cart which looks nice in the pictures but I can't see me rushing out to buy one. The PSC stuff is not perfect but their release schedule promises a lot of interesting kits, and as I've said they are a bit more compatible with other 20mm stuff, and that's what is tipping the balance in their favour.

I'll hang on to the Valiant figs meantime but if I find I need the cash to buy other stuff I'll eBay them or sell them to someone offering them a good homekingsleyparkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17161045327971275146noreply@blogger.com
